Milford
A river village with good tables, a nonprofit picture house and a power station that dressed for dinner.

Main Street is the village's social spine; the surrounding township and parkland spread much farther.
The household inconvenience tour
Arrange a winter museum appointment and find the rope bed and chamber pot, then return to Proving Grounds to celebrate plumbing and a normal chair.
Bird count, then a better seat
Walk Kensington Nature Center's trails with a notebook and count species, then catch a Milford Independent Cinema screening; both outings reward staying quiet for a moment.

Proving Grounds → Kensington winter walk → Dimitri's lunch → a booked cinema screening → Pettibone dinner.
Saturday: Kensington, Main Street shops, Pettibone and a film, staying in nearby Hartland or Novi. Sunday: Proving Grounds, another short nature walk and Coratti's dinner; add MI Bright Lights on a ticketed November–December evening.
